Clean Vegetables is an experienced innovator and developer of vegetable cultivation system. Our story began when a team of engineers working inside containers within the perimeter of an oil field in the midst of a Middle Eastern desert received their weekly, less-than-fresh vegetable supplies, due to water scarcity. With more than 20 years dealing with this exact issue, the engineers asked themselves “How could we grow vegetables inside containers by using the least amount of water?”

Based on the above question, Clean Vegetables started to research for innovative ways to grow vegetables inside containers by using the least amount of water. The answer is a closed cultivation system where external factors such as light, temperature, water, humidity and wind speed, can be fully controlled.

As for nutrients for vegetables, we make use of the nanoponic system in which plant roots are hung in mid-air and given a tiny aerosol spray at the nanoscale (which is indeed an effective solution to water scarcity issue). Vegetables grown in this fashion absorb more nutrients than those grown in other ways while maintaining excellent nutritional value, taste and aroma of high quality vegetables.

In term of yield, it is considered satisfactory because it meets the need of those who do not like the bitter taste of some vegetables. To give you an example, kales, if grown in soil or by other methods, might taste a little bitter or its stems may be too hard to chew whereas those grown using Clean Vegetables’s nanoponic system are tasty, sweet and have tender, edible stems and leaves.
